Drawings

A constraint sketch already holds what a drawing needs: its outline, and the dimensions that define it. px.Drawing(sk) draws the sketch as a drafting drawing, with extension and dimension lines, closed arrows and the values above the lines, radii and diameters on their leaders, equal features dimensioned once with their count, and the center lines of circles and bolt circles. The drawings aim to follow DIN drafting practice. The layout is automatic; Place puts single dimensions where they belong. The drawing keeps the sketch by reference, so after the sketch changed, Update draws it anew.

px.Sheet puts several views at one scale on a sheet: views on the standard planes take their places in first-angle projection, and the scale is the largest standard one at which the views and their dimensions fit. A sheet carries tables, notes, a frame and a title block, and is written at true scale as SVG, as PDF that prints 1:1, and as DXF with real dimension entities that a CAD program can edit.
