# Solids and meshes in the webgui netgen's webgui draws the OpenCASCADE solids made from planex2d faces and the meshes that netgen makes of them, which can be rotated, zoomed and clicked on to identify faces and edges. See [In 3D](../../core/plotting/in-3d.md) for drawing planex2d objects themselves on their planes in 3D. The example is a plate 4 × 2 with a hole: ```python from netgen.webgui import Draw import planex as px plate = px.QuickSketch().RectangleC(4, 2).Face() part = plate - px.QuickSketch().Circle(0.5).Face() ``` ## Solids The plate extruded by 0.5 with OpenCASCADE: ```python Draw(part.ToOCCShape().Extrude(0.5)) ``` ## Meshes The solid meshed by netgen with curved elements: ```python mesh = px.OCCGeometry(part).GenerateMesh(maxh=0.3) mesh.Curve(3) Draw(mesh) ``` ## On a plane in space When the plate is turned by 60° about the x axis and lifted by 1, its export lies on that plane. ```python Draw(part.Rotated((0, 0, 0), (1, 0, 0), 60).Translated((0, 0, 1)).ToOCCShape()) ```
